INSURANCE
A security deposit of $2500 will be authorized on your major credit card at time of check out and is fully refundable upon the damage free return of the motorcycle. Please read our Damage Policy. Lower deposits are possible by selecting our Collision Damage Waiver...see below.
You must purchase our liability insurance for $15 per day of rental plus a one-time processing fee of $3. This insurance adds you as a driver on our policy and will cover you with; $25,000/$50,000/$25,000 Liability Coverage for bodily injury or property damage you cause to others; Comprehensive coverage for direct or accidental damage to the motorcycle; and Collision coverage on a secondary basis when you are at fault, these are state minimum levels. Insurance includes $500 of coverage for medical payments for the driver only. Medical payments and liability coverage for passengers ARE NOT COVERED in this policy.
Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) is available for an additional $4.95 per day. SLI increases the limits of liability coverage to $100,000/$300,000/$100,000.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not insurance. However, by selecting CDW, our insurance policy becomes primary and: a) reduces your security deposit and; b) limits the extent of your responsibility to either $1000 or $2000 (depending on the level you select) instead of the full value and loss of use of the motorcycle. Strongly recommended.

DAMAGE POLICY
Rental motorcycles are due back exactly in the same condition as at check out except for normal wear and tear of mechanical parts and change in cleanliness. Renter is fully responsible for the motorcycle from check out to check in. Any damages must be repaired and there is a price associated with those repairs. Rental fees do not cover damages caused by an accident, road hazards or other foreign objects, operator error, negligence, abuse or ignorant use of the rental motorcycle regardless if the damage occurred with or without the involvement of the renter. Rental fees only cover the depreciation of the motorcycle; when used in accordance with the technical requirements featured in the owner’s manual, and the regular overhead and maintenance.
Renter is fully responsible for damage (mechanical, structural or cosmetic) up to the CDW value selected. If repair costs exceed the respective limit selected, each situation is handled on a case by case basis, with or without the involvement of the insurer. It is our discretion to minimize loss for our company. If renter has declined the CDW or damage is the result of the points outlined in section 5 of the Rental Agreement, then he or she is responsible for the full value of the rental motorcycle, plus all the resulting costs related to the actual damage, including the loss of business and use.
If the repair costs are below the selected CDW value, and is minor cosmetic damage which does not effect the motorcycle’s mechanical function, usability, handling, or safety and does not effect the appearance of the motorcycle in a way that could raise questions about the condition and maintenance, we may assess a damage charge which covers accelerated depreciation. In this instance, it is our sole discretion to use these charges towards the restoration of the motorcycle to its original condition or balance the value loss against excessive wear.
If the repair costs are below the selected CDW value, and impacts the usability of the motorcycle or noticeably impacts the appearance of the motorcycle, and does not require that the motorcycle be taken out of the fleet for more than one day and the repair itself would not indicate signs of previous damage that would decrease the resale value of the motorcycle, we may repair the part damaged. Otherwise, we will replace the damaged part. Renter is responsible for the cost of parts, replacement, handling, administrative costs and loss of business. Damaged parts are available to you so long as packing and shipping expenses are pre-paid.
In the event of an accident, you are required to immediately file a police report with the local authorities and report the accident to us as well. Accident instructions are reviewed at check out and can always be found on the bike with the insurance papers.
